Lead generation is not a channel — it is a pipeline with five stages, and most failures happen after the form. This blueprint covers the whole pipe.
1. Offer
An offer is a specific promise to a specific person: “Free roof inspection with a written report in 48 hours” beats “Contact us.” One offer per campaign; if you cannot state the offer in one sentence, you do not have one yet.
2. Capture
Landing page or instant form matched to the ad. Ask only what you will actually use; qualify with one or two smart fields (budget, timing, area) rather than ten lazy ones.
3. Qualification
Score and route instantly: hot leads to a human within five minutes, warm leads to a nurture sequence, unfit leads to a polite no. Speed-to-lead is the single highest-ROI variable in the pipeline.
4. Follow-up
The 72-hour sequence: instant SMS/email, a call within two hours, a useful touch next morning, an honest close on day three. Stop when they reply; log every outcome.
5. Feedback loop
Sales tells marketing what “qualified” really meant this week — which leads called back, which converted, which were spam. The loop tightens targeting, forms and creative. Without it, you are optimizing against a fiction.
Measure the pipeline, not the platform: cost per qualified lead, contact rate, show rate, close rate. When those numbers are visible monthly, growth stops being guesswork.
